Faces and Bums

So, basically all I do now is try to sleep, eat, go to the bathroom, and take care of baby. Baby has it easier, at least he doesn't have to take care of anyone else, and he sleeps more.

I'm reading the book "On Becoming Baby Wise" by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam (started last night during middle of the night feedings, and I'm already over 120 pages in...). Its basic purpose is how to get your baby to sleep through the night (at least that's the gist). The irony, right? So far, I would recommend the book to anyone with babies or planning to have babies.

Luckily, babies are relatively cute (even if they are little chubsters like Simon) and make silly faces like these, so you don't feel totally discouraged and awful about getting no sleep and having lower back pain (which I attribute to bending over to change diapers and put the child in the crib):

p.s. first gdiaper wearing (doesn't he look so pleased?):

  1. sooooo tired, but so happy to come home from work and see my monster baby!

  2. Remember how you almost left this morning with your shirt on inside out?

  3. He's is such a cutie! Love the pictures! He's such a cute little chub!

  4. You guys did a great job, he is adorable!!!!!
Life will be back to whatever "normal" is, I promise.

  5. Big, chubby babies are the BEST. You never feel like they're too fragile or anything (Hudson was big, Claire was small...definitely prefer the 1st). Way to make a keeper, Kari! He's really so darling...keep the pictures coming!
