p.s. Here he is in a cat outfit. Thanks grandma!
We had a roofer out. Turns out a good patch of the top left corner of our roof got torn off in that storm (see previous post). He fixed that but told us that we have 20 year shingles on a roof that is roughly 23 year old. Yeah, I don't like the math either. The roof is starting to crack and the fiberglass is starting to show through (I don't really know what this means except that we need a new roof). Dang it!
I also have been having bad pain in my left lower hip and just had a sharp pain in my hip down my thigh. It reminded me of that scene in "Shadowlands." If you've seen that movie, you know the one. I had to sit down right then, and Simon (who I was holding at the time) seemed pretty concerned.
On another note, I am done with my Christmas shopping for my boys! That's nice. We are (re)starting a family tradition that had a one year hiatus, but is back for good—our own "Twelve Days of Christmas." One present a day, then stockings from Santa (and the last present) on Christmas morning. I like it—it allows you to properly enjoy and appreciate each individual gift. Anyway...
