Recently I (Jamund) got a neat job at oDesk. We help companies link up with people that want to work from home. So naturally I get to work from home. Here are some pictures of my sweet new home office.
Ikea chair, Seattle Calendar, Family Photo, Degrees, etc.....
White board, Record player and Keyboard for Kicks
Side-angle of the Desk
The Tray of Usefulness
And the Couch in the Room Next Door....where I go when I have to solve
those really difficult problems.

Yep. Here you go:
And then we have one taken after giving Simon a haircut (and probably about a week or so later):
Oh, and when he was very sad and apparently gunky nosed.
Here are other photos from our walk to the park right by our house:
(Jamund says this photo, above, doesn't even look like I'm pregnant. I am, and I am getting much bigger at what seems to be a rapid pace)
We had a good few spring days. Now it is getting overcast again. Ah, Utah.
Monday, March 12, 2012
This year, like pretty much any year I can recall, I wasn't looking forward to "springing forward" the clocks.
Then, on Saturday night, I realized that Simon would likely wake up at his normal time, but that would be an hour later according to the springing forward rule. And, since we didn't have to wake up at any specific time (thanks to 1 p.m. church), we could also wake up at a normal time (hence, not technically or by default losing sleep, assuming we went to bed around the same time). We would just be losing an hour during the day, which didn't really bother me.
Rejoice! I celebrated by allowing myself to stay up with Jamund and watch Real Salt Lake kick LA Galaxy's bum (soccer, people, soccer), winning 3-1. Take that Beckham. Oh, and switching channels to watch some "Sweet Genius" too. Although somehow I think we missed about 2-3 of the four goals due to this switching back and forth. But it was still exciting.
Anyway, Simon also took a morning nap on Sunday before church (again, rejoice!) and slept well last night, waking up at a proper time this morning.
This year, I'm loving daylight savings time-- long live the spring forward!
p.s. this photo is old—this rocking chair is now gone! Painting will commence in Simon's "new" room this week, hopefully.

As previously discussed, Simon wasn't feeling so well this week. While this is sad, it did make for some nice cuddle time and a generally mellow home (except for when he was crying/sad). You learn to appreciate the cuddliness that comes with sick times once your baby "grows out" of cuddling.
And so, here are some sick day photos:
First, the strange vomit "tracks" (sorry):
Wednesday, March 7, 2012
Monday was so lovely here that Simon and I ventured outside in the afternoon. He thoroughly enjoyed himself.
I anticipated Tuesday also being somewhat nice and woke up with plans (okay, maybe one plan) of possibly going on a walk with Simon at some point.
Then I went in his room to get him out of bed and discovered the smell...and in his crib and blanket, the vomit. Rather than a walk, the day then entailed crankiness, a bath, me then getting bath oil on our duvet cover, washing the duvet cover (and other laundry), Simon hardly eating, etc.
Today he woke up still looking sad and sick and barely ate any breakfast. That was a blessing, however, because after breakfast he went up to his room and vomited (mostly milk) all over the carpet. Seriously, it was a bit much vomit. It was almost comical watching him and his trails of vomit, of course it may have been more comical if I hadn't had to clean it up afterwards.
Jamund helped me clean it up (Jamund may be rethinking his "work from home" job description), and then I cuddled the little man for a good while.
This is Simon's second time being sick in about a month. Tell me again, why did he get a flu shot?

You may or may not have noticed (or cared) that I haven't been posting any "belly" photos as such. Sure, maybe there have been pictures wherein my belly was present, but I thought maybe I would finally post some proper "belly" photos.
If I'm correct, this first photo was at about 15 weeks and the one next to it during week 19:
Moving forward to week 23:
And today, during week 25:
Belly shots. There you go.
p.s. If you want to compare to my last pregnancy (I don't know, maybe it's interesting to you), here's a post with some photos of "similar" weeks: click here)
